Job Description

The QHSE Specialist will functionally report to the QHSE Lead and will work closely with the Technical Quality Auditors, Quality Champions and various discipline Team Leads for the development and monitoring of internal quality audit plans for BDC projects and disciplines.

Responsibilities

QHSE Specialist will carry out the following activities under the guidance of the QHSE Lead at BDC:

  1. 1. Preparation and administration of Audit Plans
  2. 2. Internal audit scope identification w.r.t. K&A QMS
  3. 3. Scheduling internal quality audits
  4. 4. Coordination with Auditors and Auditees
  5. 5. Conducting routine internal Quality audits, as needed.
  6. 6. Updating Global Audit Planner and Tracker
  7. 7. Conducting periodic internal Quality meetings and recording the minutes
  8. 8. Follow up on QHSE Objectives and Risk Registers
  9. 9. Monitoring of BDC Teams’ Training Plans
  10. 10. Organizing periodic QHSE Induction and orientation training
  11. 11. Organizing periodic Lessons Learnt Workshops
  12. 12. Conducting QHSE toolbox talks

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree from a reputed college or university (any core discipline)
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working on Quality Management
  • Preferably qualified/trained on QMS and IMS and holding an internal auditor certification
  • Preference will be given to the candidates who have worked in a design office for 5 to 8 years

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Clarity on processes and coordination capabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Preferable to have knowledge of BIM interface
